This add-on adds Pets, as a Passive Ability in Mythril. You must make a new ‘Pet’ Character, as well as make a Pet Passive Ability to use them, there is an example PetSlime that will follow you around like a loyal companion. It will teleport to you, if you get to far away. It is set to invincible, but if you wanted to make pets that could ‘die’ accidentally - there is a respawn mechanic as well. It will follow you through teleporters/scenes, etc…

Bug Fix: I’ve been playing around with randomized loot, and saving system to make it remember things… and started getting NRE references in PetSummoning while doing a bunch of saves and loads… in my PetSlime Prefab, I did not check Auto Persist when Pre Instanced - please make sure you check that if you are using this and getting any NREs on load

@MrMystery πŸ™‚ One idea I suggest for this addon.

One summon / pet, if it dies > it can transform into/self-summon it’s low-level counterpart For example if you defeat my Charizard, it dies and Charmeleon takes it’s place—it devolves.

Or my Super Slime, when defeated turns into a Regular Slime. Now my minion is permanently a Regular Slime. If Regular Slime dies, then that’s it. Your summon/pet have been vanquished.

Functionally, In Edit-mode, you can drag an enemy into inspector that takes it’s place when killed. If that slot is empty, it just dies as normal.

I mean, personally, I would use the main/summon for that… because the pet’s are setup to not die πŸ˜‰

or make a special SummonAbility… that does that - and allows the summon to have combat/etc

You could even make a special persistent summon ability, that allows it to level up, and evolve, and if it dies, it loses like half it’s levels… which may cause it to unevolve… could go a lot of directions with it

Correct, PetSummon is the Ability Prefab, much like the others, Summon, etc… it could have something on it, like a hand that moves or whatever, but given that it’s more of a passive ability, I didn’t bother with anything
